Kathmandu: A person has gone missing after falling from a river while crossing the Mahakali River at Malghat in Byas Gaonpalika-2 of Darchula district.
According to District Police Office, Darchula, Inspector Narendra Chand, Jaisingh Dhami, 30, of Byas Gaonpalika-2 went missing after falling from Tuin while crossing the Mahakali River at around 8:30 am on Friday.
He said that 5/6 locals crossed the Mahakali River from Tuin in the morning and Dhami fell into the Mahakali River and disappeared.
A search for the missing Dhami has been launched and further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
