Kathmandu : CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that he will pardon 22 UML MPs who gave a vote of confidence to Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister.

Speaking on the occasion of the 43rd memorial day of party founding general secretary Pushpalal Shrestha at the Tulsilal Pratisthan building in Chyasal today, Oli called on the Nepal side to work together in the party.

Deuba was given a vote of confidence by 22 MPs of Nepal faction. The central committee meeting on Wednesday asked the lawmaker for a 24-hour explanation.

He also said that he would grant amnesty to the leaders who lost their way. “I am just happy to be free. Let’s work together. ‘

Oli, who left Baluwatar after stepping down as the Prime Minister, reached his private residence in Balkot and declared Nepal a traitor. Even then, he was calling Oli a traitor.
