Yogabhumi Nepal could be the world’s main destination for yoga and tantra-related science for students: President

Kathmandu : President Bidyadevi Bhandari has wished that the Nepali yoga tradition would be widespread and that everyone would be inspired to be healthy and happy and to keep this national pride alive forever.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, June , 21, wishing happiness, peace, prosperity and good health to all Nepali brothers and sisters living at home and abroad, the President expressed confidence that the land of yoga could become the main destination of the world for Nepal Yoga and Tantra-related sciences.

The President mentioned that the relevance of yoga for physical and mental well-being has increased in the situation where only the physical life and physical health of the people have been affected due to the covid-19 epidemic and mental problems such as depression and anxiety have also appeared.

Since the United Nations declared June 21, 2014 as International Yoga Day every year on December 11, 2014, yoga, which is associated with our rich tradition and philosophy of life, has gained worldwide respect. This year, International Yoga Day is being celebrated with the national slogan “Yoga for Human Health”.
