The time has come to fight against oligarchy to end the constitution and republic in the country: Prachanda

We are fighting against the Oli trend: Nepal

Kathmandu: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that his fight is focused on regression, anti-constitutional movement and oligarchy.

In an interaction with the social activist, writers and intellectuals of the civil movement at the Parliament House, New Baneshwor on Wednesday, Prachanda said that the trend of representing Oli and the five opposition parties and the overall political trend were different. He explained that the opposition alliance was formed to defeat the Oli trend for the time being.

When the civil society’s leader questioned the tendency of the leaders of the five parties to be oligarchy, Prachanda said, “The tendency of the KP to be represented and the political line represented by the five parties here are not the same.” Because the vast difference between Oli and us is when we are reminded of where the Kpji was and when we were agitating for the republic and where we were. We have the power to push for a republic, a constitution, a peace agreement, while Oli is the protagonist of the tendency to oppose all these processes and to be wrong. ‘

During the interaction, Prachanda spoke about his reaction to himself, saying, “Who made me unstable?” I came from war to peace, from peace to the Constituent Assembly, from the Constituent Assembly to the Federal Democratic Republic. Initially, I formed a government with the UML. I became the leader of the largest party. I had to fight for military supremacy or civilian supremacy. I was ready to fight for civil supremacy. I left the chair easily. Seeing all this, I was at war, I was fine. Is it a mistake for me to be at peace? Is it a mistake to declare a federal democratic republic? I request you to think. Why did this happen? ‘Prachanda questioned the civic leaders.

We are fighting against the Oli trend: Leader Nepal

During the interaction, CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal said that the country’s constitution, democracy and republic is in crisis. Leader Nepal said that this crisis should be resolved by all together.

“Our country, our democracy, our constitution, our republic and change are in great crisis. How to solve this crisis? We have to be serious, Nepal stressed,’ the whole country, the system itself is heading towards danger. Looking at some expressions, activities, it is not giving a good sign.’

The country must be protected, “he said.” It is dangerous, it must be protected. The responsibility to save the country is yours, ours. ‘

Stating that it is fighting against the Oli trend now, Nepal said that such trend should not be repeated in the coming days. However, Nepal also claimed that they are not like Oli. “We are fighting against the oligarchy. This is not a fight against the individual, it is against the trend. Don’t repeat the oligopoly now. Such characters may have existed in the history of Nepal before 2007, but not after 2007. That trend was seen in Oli, ”said Nepal.
