Post-Corona Virus Syndrome And Kidney Problem Leader Khanal Taken To Delhi For Further Treatment

Kathmandu June 16 : Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal has been taken to Apollo Hospital in Delhi.

Norvic Hospital discharged him after the family decided to take him to Apollo Hospital in News Delhi, India for further treatment.

He left for Delhi on a Nepal Airlines flight at 12.30 pm. Her condition was stable at Norvic Hospital.

He was admitted to the emergency room of Norvich Hospital two days ago after he had difficulty breathing due to persistent fever.

He was then treated in a special ward in Norvic.According to the doctor involved in the treatment, water has frozen in his lungs.

Norvic said that there was a lack of oxygen due to freezing of water in the lungs. He was kept in constant oxygen support.

He did not have a significant decrease in fever. Infections were also seen in her urine and blood.

Khanal was also given a pint of blood on Tuesday. Blood was transfused after hemoglobin levels were found to be low.

Although it was planned to donate two pints of blood, only one pint of blood was donated as the body could not take it. He was constantly coughing before flying to Delhi.

‘Even his body looked weak, he was shaking. Doctors have suspected that he had pneumonia when covid was diagnosed and the problem has flared up again, ‘said Somnath Bastola, a spokesman for Norvic Hospital.

Leader Khanal was involved in the treatment of kidney problems and the symptoms seen after covid-19, Rajendra Srivastava said.
