Landslides in China have reportedly blocked the flow of Tamakoshi, be careful.

Kathmandu: The District Administration Office, Dolakha, has urged to be vigilant in the coastal area as the flow of the Tamakoshi River towards China has been stopped due to the landslide.

At 9:45 pm on Friday, the District Administration Office issued a notice stating that the river had stopped flowing due to a landslide in the town of Rongjia in Tingri County on the Nepal-China border. According to the office, the landslide was caused by heavy rains in and around the city of Rongjia.

The office has urged to be vigilant as the water level in the Tamakoshi River could rise at any time.

A statement issued by the District Administration Office said, “Landslides have been reported in Rongji town of Tingri County in and around the Nepal-China border area and landslides have been reported.
