Kathmandu : : Due to heavy rains, the water level in small and big rivers of Nepal is increasing. The Flood Forecast Division has stated that the water level at Kamala River Ranibas Hydrometry Center in Sindhuli has crossed the alert level.
Similarly, heavy rain has been measured at Bardaghat Rainfall Measurement Center in Parasi since 5 am. The coastal areas are urged to remain vigilant till noon as flash floods could occur in small rivers in the area. The heavy rain has also been measured at Rajaiya and Hetauda rain gauges in Makawanpur from 2 am.
