Kathmandu June 2 : Pakistan has produced a vaccine against corona virus in the country with the assistance of China. Pakistan has produced ‘Pakvak’ with the help of Chinese pharmaceutical company Cansino.

Union Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Omar made the announcement at a function in Islamabad on Tuesday. Thanking the Pakistani health team and China, he said it was nothing short of a revolution for Pakistan. He also said that the first choice of corona virus vaccinators in Pakistan is Chinese-made sinopharm.

Similarly, Dr. Faisal Sultan, Health Advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan, said that they have succeeded in turning difficult challenges into opportunities. He said China has done a lot to help prevent and control the Corona virus epidemic. “China has provided the raw material, but it has not been easy to develop it,” he said. According to him, large-scale corona vaccine production will start in Pakistan in a few days.

According to Pakistani media Dawn, the ‘concentrated form’ of the vaccine developed by the cansino is brought to Pakistan and packaged at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Islamabad. The canSino is China’s first vaccine against coronavirus. Who was medically tested in Pakistan. It is said to have tested it on about 18,000 citizens. Tests in Pakistan have shown that the vaccine can prevent 65.7 percent of infections and prevent 90.98 percent from becoming serious.

This vaccine product with the help of China is a great achievement for Pakistan. Pakistan is now the second largest producer of vaccine against corona virus in South Asia after India.
