Bhim Rawal urges to learn political ethics from Chief Minister Bhatta

Kathmandu June 8: CPN-UML senior leader Bhim Rawal has congratulated Far-Western Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta on his vote of confidence. Through social media, Rawal has mentioned that others can learn political ethics with Bhatta who has received a vote of confidence.

“Should those who break the law, legislation and system learn anything from him about political ethics?” Rawal wrote. Bhatta was voted in by 17 UML MPs. After 17 lawmakers from the Madhav Kumar Nepal faction voted, Bhatta got 30 votes for the chief ministership.

A majority in the 51-member provincial assembly required 26 MPs. But Bhatta got 13 votes from the Leader Nepal group and 13 votes from the Maoist center. The 12-seat Nepali Congress remained neutral, while seven lawmakers from the UML chairperson KP Sharma Oli’s group and two from the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) voted against.
