Before leaving to India for treatment, Jhalanath Khanal’s appeal: ‘Let’s get rid of ego and avoid party feet’

Kathmandu June 16. Senior Leader of CPN (UML) Jhala Nath Khanal, who is preparing to go to New Delhi, India for medical treatment, has appealed to preserve party unity.

“Unity is the path to success, but not to destruction. Therefore, I would like to make a special appeal to all the leaders and cadres to give up anger, rage, arrogance and revenge and save the party from disintegration and unity under the party’s legal process, ‘he said in a statement on Wednesday afternoon.

Senior leader Khanal has called on all parties and leaders to unite for the solution of the country’s problems as he is worried about the deteriorating political situation in the country.

The statement said, “Unnecessary confrontation, ambition and personal egoism between the major parties of the country and its leaders should be stopped as soon as possible.” I want to urge everyone to unite and solve the basic problems of the country. ‘

In a statement, he said, “Political parties are divided by controversy and polarization.” The aftershocks of the same inter-conflict fell on our then party, the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and now on the CPN (UML). This is unfortunate for the country, the people, democracy, development and prosperity within the parties that are the pillars of national unity, integrity, democracy and stability.

Khanal was admitted to the Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali on Monday due to health problems.

Khanal already reached to New Delhi, India this afternoon for further treatment.

Khanal says to Pokhrel: ‘Let’s have a party, comrade’

Before leaving for New Delhi, India for further treatment, CPN-UMLsenior leader J Khanal has urged General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel to unite the party.

Former Prime Minister Khanal, who is undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali, was met by General Secretary Pokharel on Tuesday. According to Ganesh Pandey, Pokhrel’s press advisor, Khanal had urged Pokhrel to “unite the party, comrade …”.

While the second tier leaders are active in resolving the disputes within the UML, informal dialogue is also taking place among the top leaders but no solution has been found. Khanal was admitted to the hospital on June 14 after a blood test showed hemoglobin deficiency, fever and health problems, including difficulty in breathing.
