Oli has tempted me to become the Prime Minister: Madhav Nepal

Kathmandu: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, reminded that the provision of Article 76, Clause 5 of the Constitution does not require a whip for the parliamentarians, he said that such an arrangement has been made to prevent the dissolution of the parliament. Prime Minister and CPN-UML’s KP Sharma Oli has reiterated that no agreement has been implemented.
In an interaction with mainstream media correspondents of the opposition coalition on Saturday, Prachanda said that KP Oli had always betrayed the party instead of implementing the agreement when the party was united.

“It was only two months after the first parliament was reconstituted and the party split, that Oli called me and tried to create another confusion,” said Prachanda.
Prachanda has accused Oli of threatening the court. “Parliament must be restored. Sher Bahadur Deuba must be the prime minister. Prachanda said that Deuba should be the prime minister as the demand was submitted with a majority of 149 MPs. Sher Bahadurji did not say that he wanted a prime minister,Madhavji and I told him to get ready.

‘The court decides according to the constitution. KP Oli has started threatening the court, sometimes through the Attorney General himself, said Prachanda. “I am confident that Sher Bahadur Deubaji will become the prime minister in a few days,” he said.
“I said Prachanda’s setting is better than the Supreme Court’s decision according to the constitution, rules and laws. What if Nepal runs in my setting?” Prachanda expressed surprise.

Prachanda expressed his indignation saying why those who came against the king could not speak on the weakness of the president.
“President is making rubber stamp of Oli. Why not protest ? who is KP Oli ? why can’t talk about the president ? “It simply came to our notice then. I mean, I didn’t try to be more than a king. That doesn’t mean the king has to be brought in.’
In an interaction with the editors last Thursday, Prachanda said that the current president did not have the dignity and respect of the feudal king but only KP Oli would do what he said.

Speaking on the UML controversy, Prachanda said Madhavji is seen as a staunch leader of the UML. His height has increased. Instead, Oli’s height has decreased. According to Prachanda, the UML has a majority in favor of Madhav Nepal across the country. Oli is only proud of his so called power.
On the occasion, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav said that no one could stop Deuba from becoming the Prime Minister.

On the same occasion, UML senior leader Madhav Nepal said that Oli had started urging Deuba to become the prime minister and leave Deuba to break their alliance.
Nepal said that Madhav Nepal is not greedy for the post and will not leave the alliance. And Oli’s lollipop isn’t going to fall. Some of our friends are wondering if oil can be extracted by sand. Madhav Nepal said that he was ready to be wrong if that happened.
