Kathmandu11: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, who has been holding phased discussions with former Speaker and legal practitioners after the dissolution of the House of Representatives, has called a meeting of the top leaders of the parties represented in the House of Representatives on Friday.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was also invited to the meeting convened at Lhotse Hall in the Parliament House at 2 pm, according to the Speaker’s Secretariat.

After President Bidyadevi Bhandari dissolved the House of Representatives on the recommendation of the government on May 21 and set the date for the elections on November 12 and November 19, Sapkota had earlier met separately with former speakers, legal practitioners and political party leaders to discuss the next steps.
