Kathmandu May 26 : While the dispute is raging within the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), Chairman Upendra Yadav’s party has asked another chairman Mahanta Thakur for a nine-point explanation.
Earlier, Thakur had sent a letter to Yadav seeking clarification.
The Yadav faction asked Thakur in an explanation letter, “Why did you support Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s undemocratic, unconstitutional and regressive move to dissolve parliament against the party’s decision and policy?”

In a letter written by the party’s central office chief Prakash Adhikari, it is mentioned that the meeting of the executive committee held on May 22 decided to ask for clarification.
As per the provisions of the disciplinary action, an explanation has been sought in accordance with Article 49 of the party constitution.

Earlier, Chairman Thakur had sent a letter of explanation to Upendra as per the provisions of Article 49 of the party constitution also.
