Pursuant to Article 76, Clause (5) of the Constitution of Nepal, for the purpose of appointing the Prime Minister, the House of Representatives pursuant to Article 76, Clause (2) of the Constitution of Nepal is called upon to present the grounds for obtaining a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives by 5:00 pm on May 21, 2021. , Written in the press release.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called on the President to form a new government as he does not see a political basis for a vote of confidence.

Even if the constitutional minority government fails to get a vote of confidence from the parliament, the process of forming a new government will begin after the dissolution of the government, but the use of forming a new government on the recommendation of the prime minister seems to be controversial in itself.
