Kathmandu 1 May : CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the working class who have lost their jobs due to the corona virus and are earning their livelihood through daily labor are facing serious problems and demanded alternative management including proper relief for them.

Wishing all the best on the occasion of the 132nd International Workers’ Day today, he appealed to all political activists and social workers to extend a helping hand to the unemployed workers who are facing problems with an open heart. Appealing to the entire working class to be vigilant and raise awareness to save their lives from the epidemic, former Prime Minister Prachanda also wished them good health and longevity.

Stating that economic development and prosperity is not possible in the country unless the working class is the mainstay of the multi-dimensional development of the state and the rights, interests and entitlements of the working class are ensured, he said. He said that continuous attacks are taking place.

Chairman Prachanda has appealed to the working class to unite and protest for the protection of the achievements of the backward and anti-change elements as they are seen as usurping the rights of the working people.
