Kathmandu 19 May : India, which is battling the second wave of coronaviruses, has seen the highest number of deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the Union Ministry of Health, 4,529 people died on Tuesday. This number of daily deaths is very high not only in India but all over the world.

Earlier, 4,475 infected people died in a single day in the United States. In Brazil, another country most affected by the coronavirus, more than 4,249 people have died in a single day.
Recently, the number of daily infections in India has been declining. A few days ago, up to 414,000 coronavirus infections were added on the same day. On Tuesday, 267,000 people across India were infected with covid.
In India so far, 25.49 million people have been confirmed infected and 283,000 have died. At present, there are 3.226 million active infections in India.
