Kathmandu, 1 May : A fire at a Corona hospital in Gujarat, India, has killed at least 12 patients. The death toll could rise, according to Indian media. A fire broke out at the Welfare Hospital in Bharuch around 12:30 pm on Friday night, according to SP Rajendra Singh Chudasma of the police station.

According to the hospital, 12 patients died. Several patients were seriously injured in the blaze. Corona-infected patients were being treated on the first floor of the hospital. After the fire, it was not possible to treat them in Welfare, so 50 corona-infected patients have been shifted to another hospital.
