Kathmandu 14 May : Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, who has been re-appointed, has said that next year’s budget will come to face Kovid-19. After assuming office at the Finance Ministry on Friday, Finance Minister Poudel said that the budget is in the final stage of preparation and that the budget would be brought with the resolve to revive and mobilize the economy affected by the covid-19 epidemic.
He said that all forces, resources and capabilities would be mobilized to prevent and control covid-19 and make the fight against covid-19 more intense and effective. Finance Minister Poudel expressed his commitment to make all necessary efforts for the testing and treatment of those infected with COVID-19.
Along with taking office, Finance Minister Poudel has approved the decision to provide Rs. 583.24 million for Dadeldhura Hospital, Patan Institute of Health Sciences and Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj for the connection of oxygen plant and pipeline.
