Kathmandu, 26 April: Public transport has been banned in Kathmandu Valley from April 29 to 5May.
The decision was taken at today’s joint meeting of the chief district officers of the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley. The Kathmandu District Administration Office has issued a notice to stop the operation of public and private transport except for essential services from 6 am on April 29 to 12 noon on 5 May.
In addition, food related shops can be opened from 10 am to 5 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm. In addition, those who want to enter the Kathmandu Valley must stay in the quarantine and home isolation prescribed by the local level.
