Home Minister bats for safeguarding national independence

Kathmandu, Feb 5 :

Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa has urged all to be united for national independency. Addressing a mass gathering organized by the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) here today, Minister Thapa, also secretariat member of the party, stressed on leading the country towards developmental and prosperity through elections. He argued that the constitution could not be ensured only through protest but it could be safeguarded through elections.

Home Minister Thapa argued that this critical situation occurred in the party due to conspiracy hatched to sack the party leadership and create instability. He added that the greedy groups led the party into split and it could be defeated only by the people therefore they came to the people.
