Kathmandu, December 22:

A single day records 722 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally has reached 2, 55,236 in Nepal till Tuesday afternoon.

Similarly, the Ministry has announced that the country has 7,729 active cases of the virus.

There are 966 infected people who has recovered from the virus infection. So far, 2, 45,709 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Moreover, 3 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1798.
