NCP meeting proceeding at PM official residence, Baluwatar

Kathmandu, Dec 1:

The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar.

The meeting scheduled to be held at the party’s central office in Dhumbarahi has been shifted to Baluwatar. One of the leaders has said that the meeting is convened in Baluwatar mentioning internal security reasons. Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Prachanda has also stated that the meeting will be held in Baluwatar due to security reasons.

Party General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, who is also the Finance Minister, has informed that the secretariat meeting would be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

It is reported that five secretary members – Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Jhala Nath Khanal, Madav Nepal, Bamdev Gautam and Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha have prepared a joint written response to Oli’s proposal.
