
Kathmandu, December 27:
A four-member Chinese delegation along with Guo Yezhou, a vice-minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, has recently reached the President’s Office, Shital Niwas amid the political instabilities in Nepal.
The team is scheduled to meet President Vidyadevi Bhandari to express their concerns over the recent split in the ruling Nepal Communist Party.
They have arrived in Nepal on Sunday afternoon from an Air China flight. After meeting President Bhandari, they are programmed to encounter Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, CPN-Prachanda-Madhav group, and finally, they will be meeting Janata Samajwadi Party’s federal council president Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and other political leaders as well.
Earlier, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, has also accelerated her political appoin meantwith both factions of the split party.
It is expected that these high level visit will be advising leaders from both the sides to reunite again.
