Chief of Gandaki Province Amik Sherchan has said that stability would bring about prosperity in the country. At a meeting with the people’s representatives and officials in Bensisahar on Sunday, Sherchan said that the political parties have no option but to unite for the cause of prosperity.

Saying that the constitution has given much rights to the citizens compared to the past, Sherchan argued that the marginalized communities should be uplifted by prioritizing their health and education.

During the meeting, Member of House of Representatives Yeshoda Subedi, Constituent Assembly member Jamindraman Ghale, Province Assembly member Madhu Adhikari, Chief District Officer of Lamjung Krishna Prasad Sharma and people’s representatives from different local levels in the district were present.
