Kathmandu, November 8:

Till Saturday afternoon, 2,817 new cases of corona virus are added. According to the information given by the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 12 thousand 311 PCR test are done and of this, 2 thousand 812 are recorded to have infection in a single day.

There are a total of 194,453 infected people throughout the country , so far. The number of active infected people on Sunday is 35,419.

As many as 1,533 people have been infected in Kathmandu Valley on Sunday. Of them, 1,294 are in Kathmandu, 162 in Lalitpur and 77 in Bhaktapur. On Sunday, 2,812 people recovered from the infection.

So far, the number of recovery has reached 157,926. This is 81.1 percent of the total infection, said spokesperson, Gautam. Moreover, 21 people have died from the corona infection.  According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of deaths across the country has reached 1,108 till date.
