A look at the week of events preceding President Donald Trump’s announcement that he tested positive for the novel coronavirus,

President Donald Trump tweeted early Friday morning that he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for COVID-19. In the week leading up to the bombshell announcement, Trump had maintained a busy schedule and came into close contact with many people who were often not wearing masks.

Guests including First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, U.S. Attorney General William Barr, White House aides, senators, University of Notre Dame President Rev. John I.
