Kathmandu, Oct 15 : Three newly appointed ministers took oath of office and secrecy before President Bidya Devi Bhandari at a special function held at Rastrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas today.

Those taking the oath are Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, Minister for Urban Development Krishna Gopal Shrestha and Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Lilanath Shrestha.

Also present at the oath taking ceremony were the Vice-president, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and other ministers and dignitaries. As part of a reshuffling of the Council of Ministers, the new ministers were appointed by the President on Wednesday on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
