Province 2 announces public holiday on the birthday of Prophet Muhammad

Kathmandu, October 29

The Province 2 government has declared a public holiday on Friday.

The government of Nepal has announced the holiday on the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam religion. There is a large number of Muslim population in this province, in comparison to other provinces.

The announcement of this holiday was already included on the provincial government’s public holiday list for the year 2077 BS.
