Kathmandu, October 30:

President of the main opposition party Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the top leaders.

A meeting of the Central Committee of Nepali Congress will be called on Kartik 21.

Prakash Saran Mahat has informed that the meeting of the top leaders is convened for the discussions on way to proceed General Convention of Nepali Congress. The meeting has been rescheduled after it was postponed due to corona virus infection.

According to Mahat, the meeting will be discussing on the protest letter submitted by the party’s senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel as well as other leaders. This meeting of the top leaders will also decide the agenda to be presented in the meeting of the Central Working Committee.so on.

 The Poudel faction has been protesting on the issue of active membership distribution. On 12^th of Ashoj, the Poudel faction handed over a letter of protest to Chairman Deuba at the Central Party Office. Also, the Poudel faction demands that the issues raised by them should be resolved before the meeting of the Central Committee.
