Kathmandu, October 21:

A meeting is underway between NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal. The meeting is held at Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar on to solve out the dispute in Karnali.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli had separate discussions with Chairman Prachanda and senior leaders Nepal. Sources claim that Prime Minister Oli has also proposed for cooperation regarding the dispute to senior leader Nepal. Oli and Prachanda have come out with diverse views on the Karnali dispute.

Oli and the lawmakers, who are the supporters of the leader Nepal, had filed a no-confidence motion against Karnali parliamentary party leader Mahendra Bahadur Shahi on Kartik 25.

The Karnali government was on the verge of collapse after a no-confidence motion was filed against Shahi, the chief minister.
