Epidemic growing rapidly : coronavirus crisis will worsen -Gov presumes

Kathmandu, September 21:

Nepal has confirmed more than 1,150 new cases of COVID-19 so far. Major cities such as Kathmandu, Bhaktapoor and Lalitpoor are particularly badly affected district, with hospitals struggling to accommodate critically ill patients.

Corona infection continues to surge in many places of Nepal. More than 1,000 infected people are growing every single day. A total of 1,154 new infections were added on Monday only.

A spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Prof. Dr Jageshwor Gautam, has said that 1,154 people are added in the 9,533 PCR tests. At the same time, the total number of infected people has reached 65,276 so far. Similarly, six persons including a woman has succumbed to the COVID 19 in the Valley in the last 24 hours.

Moreover, 1,005 infected people have returned home after recovering.The number of those discharged has reached 47,238 , so far. Therefore, this rate is 72 percent.
