Kathmandu, September 4:

Covid 19 infection is rapidly increasing day by day in Nepal. More than 1,000 corona virus infected people are being added on daily basis.

Additional, 1359 new infected people are added across the country, Friday, According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 13,559 infected people are added to the 13,638 PCR tests sample record. Spokesperson, Prof. Dr. Jageshwar Gautam has said 464 women and 895 men are infected on Friday, at the regular press briefing organized by the Ministry of Health and Population.

So far, in PCR testing of  7,45,490 individuals, the number of infected people has reached 44,236 across the country. In Kathmandu Valley, 454 people have been infected. Of them, 386 have been infected in Kathmandu, 32 in Lalitpur and 36 in Bhaktapur.

The number of active infected has reached 18,404.

Out of which 10 thousand 942 are sitting in institutional isolation. Moreover, there are 7 thousand 462 people in home isolation.

A total of 1354 infected people from across the country have returned home after recovering.  So far, 25,561 people have returned home.
