PM Oli Left the hall inaugurating Standing Committee meeting; SC underway

Kathmandu, September 11:

Standing Committee meeting of Ruling Nepal Communist Party (CPN) is underway.

According to Surya Thapa, Press Advisor to PM Oli, the meeting has started at 11 am on Friday at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar.

We are reported that the Prime Minister and CPN Chairman KP Sharma Oli has left soon after addressing the meeting.

The meeting is chaired by Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, as per Surya Thapa.

Prior to this meeting, Prime Minister and CPN Chairman KP Sharma Oli and another Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda had a brief discussion in Baluwatar, today.

The standing committee meeting that started on Ashad 10 has not ended yet, due to the dispute within the party

The two chairpersons had formed a 6 member task force to resolve the recent disputes within the party. This meeting will discuss and endorse the suggestions present by the taskforce.

Sources claim that party senior leader, Madhav Kumar Nepal also agreed on the proposal prepared by two chairpersons.

According to a leader of the then CPN (Maoist) , the standing committee meeting is scheduled to end today.
