Kathmandu, September 3:

There is clash between local youths and police during the chariot procession of Rato Machindranath.

The clash has broken out after   police, who were deployed in this spot, prohibit the gathering of the people to reduce the risk of spread of the coronavirus.

Police used water guns and tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Local youths attacked police personnel with stones. The youths protested when the police started obstructing the chariot procession.

Now, a large number of Security personnel have been deployed.
