Kathmandu, September 14:

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has scheduled a cabinet meeting at 5 pm today. Ram Sharan Bajagain, a press coordinator of PM Oli, has said that today’s cabinet meeting is a regular meeting which will make to some important decisions.

Some preparations are underway to appoint a head and members of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority along with the spokesperson for the government.

Similarly, Council of Ministers will also appoint the executive director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) in today’s meeting since, NEA’s executive director, Kulman Ghising’s and the Chief of NEA, Navin Ghimire’s tenure ended on Sunday.

Moreover, the Minister of Finance and Communications, Dr. Yuvaraj Khatiwada who also had got responsibility of spokesperson of the government resigned from the post. Now the post is vacant. The Council of Ministers meets every Sunday or Monday except for emergencies.
