Kathmandu, August 31:

A total of 899 corona infected people have been recorded in the last 24 hours, in Nepal.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Jageshwor Gautam, has said that 899 new infected people have been added in the 11,129 PCR tests sample report. Out of this infected people, 303 are women and 596 are men.

So far, the number of infected people has reached 39,460. The number of active infected is 17 thousand 822. There are 10 thousand 7 hundred and 1 people in institutional isolation.

 And 298 people have been added in Kathmandu Valley, only. Similarly, there are 7 thousand and 1 hundred and 21 people in home isolation.

So far, 21,410 infected people have been recovered and returned home.

A total of 7,337 people are staying in quarantine.
