NC condoles demise of ex-mayor of Janakpur city

Kathmandu, Aug 13

Nepali Congress (NC) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of party’s leader and ex-mayor of Janakpur Municipality Krishna Giri.

Social worker and former mayor of the city died at the age of 73 in Medicity Hospital in the capital city on 11 August. Issuing a press statement today, the NC said that the party lost a leading personality.

Stating that Giri’s demise was an irreparable loss, the NC has expressed heartfelt condolence to the departed soul and sympathies to the bereaved family members.
