Fruit and vegetable sellers have COVID 19 infection in Kalimati, Kuleshwor and Balkhu

Kathmandu, August 14:

ABC television is reported that more than 40 Fruit and vegetable sellers in Kalimati, Kuleshwor and Balkhu areas of Kathmandu have contracted corona.

Ward Chairperson Shobha Sapkota has informed that more than 40 people have been infected with corona on the test done on Wednesday and Thursday.

Corona infection is predicted to have increased due to the infected returnees from India and the Terai region of Nepal. These traders have come to KTM valley soon after the lockdown was eased.

Ward Chairman, Sapkota has informed that efforts have been made to control corona infection by sealing roads, settlements and markets for a few days.

 Kathmandu Metropolitan City – 14 has sealed shops and some settlements in Kuleshwor and Balkhu areas after the corona infection spread becomes rapid.

Similarly, the ward office has closed all services except emergency services.

 The Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati, has stated that corona prevention and control work is being carried out in coordination with the locals.
