Kathmandu, August 26:
The ban has been extended again for a week in Kathmandu Valley. Three chief district officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur have extended the injunction in the Kathmandu Valley for another week.
The chief security, the mayor of the municipality and the officials of the public health office have decided to extend the ban in the valley after discussions.
A chief district official has said that that ban was added since the infection rate in the people in the valley is on the rise.
Earlier, the ban, which started at midnight on Bhadra 3, has come to an end on Wednesday. A meeting of the Valley Municipal Forum on Monday has decided to recommend the administration to extend the ban.
