Terhathum, July 4 

Two people died and five others were injured in a road accident at Akabre chowk in Chathedhunga, Aathrai rural municipality-5. The accident took place on Friday evening involving a tractor (Me. 1 Ta. 6219) carrying labourers working on the Mid-hill highway. The deceased has been identified as Lalit Bhujel,55, and Shyam Magar,40, according to police inspector at the Area Police Office in Sakranti, Seshram Thandar. The injured are Devi Abhishek Dangi, Padam Khawas, Padam Ingnam, Sailesh Magranti and Yukesh Baraili. The accident took place when the workers were being taken to Barbote rom Chuhandanda in ward no 6 of the rural municipality, ward no. 5 member Dil Kumar Kandangwa said. The injured have been rushed to Phidim health centre.
