Nepal Rastra Bank has directed the banks to open fully on Saturday as well.

NRB has directed A, B and C class banks and other financial institutions to open not only on Saturdays but also on other public holidays, till the end of this month.

Rashtra Bank, Chief of Banking and Financial Institutions Regulation Department Dev Kumar Dhakal has informed that instructions have been given to keep the branches of revenue collecting banks, open for revenue collection purposes.

Moreover, not only the bank but also the Nepal Clearing House will be open on Saturday. In order to pay the revenue to the government, the NRB has instructed the banks to stay open till the end of the month of Ashad. The government has not been able to raise revenue due to COVID-19 and has instructed to keep the banks open for the convenience of the public, said NRB
