Kathmandu, July 15

Drug dealers have remonstrated with various demands.

They have complained that the government has not implemented the agreement with them. They have said that there is no compromise on registration and quality of medicinal products.

Entrepreneurs have remonstrated demanding the ban on import and export of substandard medicines, reminding that there was no shortage of medicines even during the blockade and earthquake.

The former president of the Nepal Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, Umesh Lal Shrestha, said that the government had a bad eye on the pharmaceutical industry.

The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association has also objected to the decision to extend the sanitizer registration period by three months.

He has said that there is quality and systematic production of sanitizers in Nepal.

The government alone should repeal the increase in revenue of medicine.

They have demanded that the sale of non-standard sanitizers should be stopped, saying that it would affect the health of the people.
