Kathmandu, July 22:

A 48 year-old Chinese woman died of corona infection while undergoing treatment at Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

The executive director of Teaching Hospital, Maharagunj,  Dr Rohit Pokhrel, confirmed the death of the Chinese national .

She was referred to Teaching Hospital from Grandi Hospital only yesterday. Corona was confirmed at Grandi Hospital. T​he hospital has said that the body of the woman has been kept at the teaching hospital and coordination is underway with the embassy.

The Ministry of Health and Population has not officially confirmed the death of the foreign woman from corona infection.
