Kathmandu, July 10:
A Gorkha soldier, in Indian army, has been killed in a Pakistani gunfire in Line of Control (LOC) of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning. Indian media have reported that the Pakistani army bombarded the Nausera area in Rajouri, Kashmir.
According to the Indian Army, Sambar Gurung was killed in the firing last night. His permanent address is said to be in Gorkha district . Gurung, who was injured in the shooting, died on the way to the hospital.Recently, tensions have been rising in the LoC between India and Pakistan.
India and Pakistan have repeatedly accused each other of violating the ceasefire. This is the second death toll of Nepali defending the Indian border in a month.
Earlier, Corporal Deepak Karki of Gulmi had also died in Nausera region in Rajauri
